Launch range
Coir Geotextiles
Woven coir mesh for temporary erosion control and vegetation establishment on slopes, embankments, channels and riverbanks.

Overview
Coir geotextiles are woven from twisted coconut-husk yarn. The open structure protects bare soil from rainfall impact and surface run-off while allowing seed and plugs to establish through the mesh.
As vegetation roots in, the coir degrades naturally, leaving no synthetic residue in the ground or watercourse. Three grades are held in UK stock to suit slope gradient, flow conditions and design life.
Applications
- Slope and embankment erosion control
- SuDS swales, basins and attenuation features
- Riverbank, channel and culvert outfall works
- Biodiversity Net Gain habitat creation schemes
- Highway and rail cutting reinstatement
- Restoration of disturbed ground after pipeline and cable works
